Best AI Project Management Tools in 2026: Real Pricing, Real Picks for Small Business
Every PM tool slapped an AI label on something this year. Most of it is a chatbot duct-taped to the side of the project view. I dug through the AI features in ClickUp, Asana, Monday.com, Linear, Notion, and Jira to see which ones actually do work and which are just expensive autocomplete. The gap between what they market and what you get is bigger than you’d think.
Pricing comes straight from each vendor’s site so you’re not looking at stale numbers. I read the docs, scanned G2 and Capterra, and poked around in trial accounts where I could get one. Not every tool here is in my stack though. I run most of my own work out of Notion, so I’ll flag where that bias shows. For the others I’m leaning on community threads, user reviews, and what the vendor claims the AI does. If something looks too good, I say so.
